Thank you for kindly answering my questions about the portrait. I am pleased to find out it is a Gegoux. I found it at a country auction in Chateaugay, New York about 25 years ago. Chateaugay is a small town in the northern part of New York state. Sadly that is all i can tell you about the picture, I am not even sure if it is a male or female in the picture.
